About this path
The Wye Valley Walk and Offa’s Dyke Path share the riverside through Monmouth, past Wye Bridge and the leisure centre. The council formally advised avoiding both national trails during Storm Claudia’s major flooding in November 2025, and the same corridor flooded in January 2024 as the Wye peaked overnight.
