That’s below the level where this path usually starts to flood.

This flood line is still a starting estimate. The first reports of a flooded and a passable day will calibrate it.

About this path

Builth Wells' riverside park — a tree-lined avenue along the Wye carrying the Wye Valley Walk west to the Irfon confluence. The whole riverside sits inside the flood warning area and went under in Storm Dennis, the record flood here, and again in Storm Darragh in December 2024, when the riverside facilities stayed shut for cleaning.

Flood Path is advisory and not safety-critical — river readings come from public feeds with no guarantee, and conditions can change fast in heavy rain. Use your own judgement on the day.
